finding the fun
Level design is an art-form that bridges game design and environment art.
It needs to understand and translate a game’s unique mechanics into an environment that creates challenge and rewards choices to feel fun. With
fun being on the knife’s edge of “frustrating” and “boring”. Iterating on this environment over weeks, months or years is incredibly fulfilling as a level designer.
With a team’s shared vision, I want to help challenge players to experience every facet of our environment to enhance the game’s core principles and
most importantly find the fun.
